Profile

Julie E Jeanseau, Mixed Media Artist

My work is equally planned and intuitive. Whimsical and thoughtful.
I am a creative. A maker. I am a full time artist and art teacher and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. The compositions in my work are inspired by nature and the stillness it brings me. The Landcape themes play with the idea of creating sacred spaces in the intersection of the physical and divine. My work explores themes of home, safety and expansion. My work has developed from both formal teaching at both the University of Oregon(BA 93), and Oregon School of Arts and Crafts as well as a self taught intuitive understanding.
